About me
A little about me—I'm Hallie Rae!
I earned my B.A. in Communication Studies from Furman University in 2023, but my love for events started long before graduation. With over eight years of hands-on experience at incredible places like Ashton Events, Furman University Student Activities Board, The Rutherford Greenville, The Hughes Agency, and Avenue Greenville, I've had the opportunity to learn from the best and grow in every corner of the industry. Outside of event planning, you’ll usually find me soaking up the sunshine, baking sourdough, riding bikes with my husband, or belting songs in the car with friends!

Rae of Sunshine Events was born out of inspiration and encouragement. I’ve been incredibly lucky to work alongside some amazing mentors who not only taught me the ins and outs of the industry but also gave me the confidence to start this journey. That’s how Rae of Sunshine Events came to life—with the goal of bringing your vision to life, whether it's a wedding, birthday bash, or any celebration in between. I’m here to make the planning process seamless and stress-free, so you can fully enjoy every moment. But most importantly, I’m here to get to know you—not just as a client, but as a friend.
